All round everything worked well. Only comment was that the rooms were very warm and there is no way to turn the temperature at night down except open the window - but that works.

Wonderful. Sad to go home!

We had a junior suite. The description said a double bed with a sofa bed for one child and a separate room with a single bed for another child. In actual fact there was a pull out bed under the single bed so both children could sleep in the little room together which was much better. The suite was spacious with plenty of storage. A table and sofa where we could sit and play games. The spa was amazing and the perfect wind down after a day’s skiing. Children allowed until 6pm which was good for a cut off time and for people without kids! The restaurants were all great. The dinner buffet was very varied and good value. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. One server called Gaylord was particularly attentive and remembered all our morning coffee orders from day one. Another lady, Vicky, was incredibly kind and helpful after I’d hurt my leg skiing. Overall a fantastic hotel which we would thoroughly recommend and will be coming back to!

The hot tub and saunas could have been hotter.

The staff are all young but very helpful and knowledgeable. Ski school set up was amazing!

Needs more choice on bar menu - for kids & desserts Still seemed expensive £9 hot chocolate. And did not like paying in advance rather than at checkout. Can’t buy <5 or veteran passes on site. No morning kids club. Kids club in basement.

Lovely staff, nice hotel with great ski access. Just too child-focussed for us to have a great stay

Service was great throughout - friendly and responsive. Nice room and view. Good lunches. Liked the ease of using the ski shop to store our ski gear.

Breakfast was OK - a bit disappointing vs. others we've had on ski holidays. Not enough variety. Found the hotel was really overrun by children - they just took over and at times they just made our stay unpleasant. At the Italian restaurant a couple of loud families with even louder children ruined the meal for us - they were placed in the centre of the restaurant so they were unavoidable. After that we avoided eating at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a great location and with exceptional service. Very good and abundant breakfast buffet, lovely spa area. Very good restaurants as well. The terrace is the perfect place for an afternoon drink to bask in the sun and enjoy the alpine atmosphere

Great location, excellent food, and service

The rooms are very spacious, and well furnished. The common areas are very tastefully decorated, with very interesting furniture pieces made from an eclectic collection of wood, ceramics and metal. The staff is very attentive to your needs, very well trained and professional. The buffet restaurant has some excellent food options and many great deserts. You will not want to leave the place to dine anywhere else. The location is right next to the slopes. If you’re a beginner coming back from skiing could be a little tough since you need to traverse a slope, take off your equipment and hike up a little bit to get to the ski room. Not a big issue, but I thought I’d mention it, don’t let this influence your decision. Compared to other 4 star hotels we stayed throughout our ski trip this a really great value for your money. Overall a really great stay, highly recommended!

Light inside the room is little lacking in the main sitting area. Some more floor light appliances would be great.

Gorgeous hotel in an amazing location!

The hotel is gorgeous, with an incredible ski-in/ski-out location and tremendous views. The common interior spaces are really well designed and very comfortable, the food (particularly the breakfast) was fantastic, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, particularly when it came to making reservations in town and shuttling us back and forth. Also, the treatments at the spa were amazing - the exfoliating massage in particular was one of the best massages I've ever had.

The rest of the spa area could be improved a bit. There was a 3- or 4-inch puddle of cold water (seemingly from a broken drain, but it was never explained) between the spa reception and the pool area, which was there all week and was quite annoying to walk through. The acoustics of the pool area were such that if anyone's in the hot tub and talking, it sounds like they're yelling. The pool and hot tub also could have been warmed up a few degrees, and there's no relaxation area for escaping the sounds of people yelling in the hot tub. Also, although it's incredibly convenient for skiing (I didn't count precisely, but there's like 7 or 8 lifts you can reach directly, either in Val Thorens or further down towards Les Menuires), it's not that convenient for walking into town, although their shuttle service helps a lot with that.

Excellent staff and facilities. The non-alcoholic drinks exclusions were a little strange.

Great breakfast and evening meal at the buffet.

Drinks were not included with any meal even though we stayed half-board. It is usual that alcoholic drinks are not included but soft drinks, tea, coffee and bottled water were only provided at additional cost. Tap water was free and a selection of fruit juices at breakfast were free. Tea coffee was provided in the room and later in the week staff knocked on the door to offer free bottled water but initially, there was no free bottled water in the room, which is unusual.
